The Media Lie

Sadly many Americans buy into the media's idea of what life should be like. The media's propaganda starts with cartoons that are for infants all the way up to TV shows like Friends, King of Queens, and Sex in the City. The media tells American's what to think of as cool: Fast cars, guns, half naked girls. Movies exemplify ideas of of drunken behavior and fornication as cool, and not to mention, perfectly fine. Think about what you think of as cool? Why do you think that is cool? Fast cars shown in movies do things that are never legal on the road. People hunt down and kill people for revenge without consequences. In most movies and shows fast cars are always surrounded by half naked girls. Implying that girls love fast cars, when in fact, a lot of girls don't even care. The media as single handedly taken over American with ideology. It is sad to think that a lot of americans get thier morals from the media and wouldn't even admit it. Several people that I've talked to who believe it's okay to get drunk anytime you want, don't even know why they like getting drunk. Most of them admit that they hate being drunk because of the after effects! Please don't buy into the media's propaganda of what is cool. Think about what you think of as cool and think why you believe that is cool.
